Travel!
I have always loved to travel, but I really developed this passion when I studied abroad in July of 2024. I had the privilege of spending the month in Florence, Italy, and was able to visit cities throughout the country.
Career Trek!
In October of 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to New York City with 13 other students from UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media for a career trek, and it was an amazing experience I’ll never forget.
We had the chance to visit Golin, Droga5, VML, Bloomberg, The New York Times and Roku, met with inspiring professionals, and connected with amazing UNC alumni. I learned so much about the fields of advertising, public relations, marketing, and journalism, and the insights I gained have only deepened my excitement about pursuing a future in these industries.
Blank Canvas
My dance club, Blank Canvas, is the thing that brings me the most joy. I am the Vice President of Production this year, so I get to plan, facilitate, and organize everything that leads up to our semester shows. Blank Canvas makes me feel the most at home at UNC because I get to do something I’m passionate about while being surrounded by my best friends.

I hope to find a career that I love in a marketing agency or pursue an in-house marketing position.
What is my favorite thing about UNC?
My favorite thing about UNC is my dance company, Blank Canvas. I devote more time to dance and working on the officer board than anything else, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
